AITS
Administrative Information Technology Services (AITS) delivers enterprise-wide information technology solutions / services in support of the administrative processes of the University of Illinois and its campuses. In the delivery of its technology services, AITS collaborates with the campus-based computing organizations on policies and standards that optimize and secure the University's information technology infrastructure as a whole.
AITS' principal responsibilities include:
- development of new enterprise-wide systems and interfaces, including functional analysis, user interface design, technical analysis, application development and quality assurance
- maintenance of enterprise-wide systems
- computer operations
- information technology architecture design
- information technology security and systems assurance
- information technology portfolio management
- specialized end user support to individual functional offices through Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
