Strategic Planning
In January 2005, B. Joseph White became the 16th president of the University of Illinois. Shortly thereafter, President White initiated a comprehensive university-wide strategic planning effort. The University Office for Planning and Administration provides to the President and Vice Presidents as well as the Chancellors and Provosts at the three University of Illinois campuses:
- services and support for strategic planning,
- operating and capital budgeting,
- enterprise-wide administrative computing,
- data warehousing,
- and human resources.
It also supports statewide inter-institutional library resource sharing through the CARLI organization.
The PA units are comprised of approximately 300 FTE employees.
